ODPi will be onsite for IBM’s THINK 2019 in San Francisco with several speaking sessions. The annual event offers the opportunity for attendees to get a hands-on experience with the latest technology and network with professionals from one of the world’s most celebrated communities of technologists and thought leaders.

On Tuesday, February 12 at 8:30 AM, Mandy Chessell, Distinguished Engineer at IBM, and Maryna Strelchuk, Associate Information Architect at ING, will host a session entitled, “IBM InfoSphere Information Governance Catalog and Apache Atlas integration with Open Metadata/Egeria.”

On Wednesday, February 13 at 8:30 AM, Mandy is teaming up with Ferd Scheepers, Information Architect at ING, and John Mertic, the Director of Program Management at The Linux Foundation, to present a session titled, “ODPi: Unifying Open Meta Data for Management and Governance.” Learn how to build a data-driven organization as John, Mandy & Ferd discuss the latest developments in compliance management, GDPR, data catalogs and governance. The session will explore how IBM, ING and other ODPi members are collaborating to build open ecosystems while adhering to governance guidelines and imperatives.
